Faces of the Manchester massacre: Brave aunt killed shielding her niece, a teenager who dreamed of stardom, friends waiting for their children, and a girl whose injured mother doesn’t know she’s dead

Heartbreaking details have begun to emerge about some of the 22 people killed in Monday night’s attack at the Manchester Arena. In the early hours of this morning devastated mother Charlotte Campbell confirmed that her 15-year-old daughter Olivia (left) was the latest confirmed victim of Monday’s suicide attack. Mothers Alison Howe (bottom right) and Lisa Lees (top right) were waiting for their children outside the concert when they were caught in the blast. It was last night confirmed that Kelly Brewster (centre) who shielded her niece from the explosion, was killed in the attack, as was eight-year-old Saffie Rosee Roussos (inset, centre). ‘True gentleman’ John Atkinson (right inset) and 18-year-old Georgina Callander (left inset) were killed by terrorist Salman Abedi, who also died in the atrocity. A fundraising page has been set up in memory of schoolgirl Megan Hurley, from Liverpool, stating she was taken ‘far too early’.
